One-click demo import works for most resources, but on some it’s blocked — the importer checks a genuine license key in real time that those resources don’t carry. It doesn’t mean the resource is broken, and you can still get the demo in manually.
In short: when one-click import is blocked, you can still import the demo manually from the files included in your download, or use a resource with a genuine license that supports one-click import.
Why demo import is blocked on some resources
On the resources where it’s unavailable, the importer verifies a genuine license key against the developer’s server in real time. Those resources don’t carry that key, so the developer disables the automatic import endpoint. The resource itself works normally — only the one-click import is affected.
What you can do
- Import the demo manually from your download. Open the resource’s Addons & documentation download — the demo and template files are included inside — and import them with the resource’s own import tool.
- Use a resource we offer with a genuine license. Those support one-click demo and template import. Enable it per site from your Activation Center.
- Build the layout manually using the resource’s builder and settings.
Good to know
- This only affects some resources — most import demos with no extra steps.
- When one-click import is blocked, the demo and template files are still provided in the Addons & documentation download, so you’re not missing them.
